THIS ONE’S FOR THE GIIIRRRRLLSSSSS
Did anyone else just sing that in their head? Or is that just us?
Anywho…
Welcome back to another fabulous blog with information you didn’t know you needed! We’re your hosts for the day- Ashley and Camden. And today we wanted to talk to you all about what to bring with you on your wedding day. There are 8204739 things you can bring with you on your wedding day, but just follow our guide and you’ll be on the road to marriage, hopefully without a broken back. Let’s dive in!
First and foremost, let’s Start With the Basics
- Your Wedding Dress
- Your Shoes
- Proper Undergarments
- Veil
- Bridal Jewelry/Accessories (necklace, earrings, garter, etc)
- Your Wedding Ring, or Your Spouse’s if you are keeping each other’s
The very basic things you need consist of your attire. Make sure you have everything you need to look and feel your best!! Also, if you’re holding on to your spouse’s ring(s), definitely double check to see that you have that in your bag. These are your essentials to get married.
Now for some more advanced things:
- Vow books
- Invitation suite
- Special trinkets
- Deodorant
- Any special makeup (ex if you wanted a specific lip color)
- Perfume
- Any decorative hangers
These items are mostly optional, except maybe the deodorant… But in general, having pieces like your invitation suite or special trinkets are mainly for photo sake. And vow books totally depend on if you have them! If you have a special lip color or perfume you want to use and have in photos, bring those along as well.
Lastly, these are your NEXT LEVEL needs:
- Bridesmaid gifts
- Parent gifts
- Heel stoppers (if you need them)
- Any extra décor you wanted to bring
- Notes or gifts for your spouse
For this section, everything is pretty much optional! If you plan on having gifts for your bridesmaids or parents, make sure to bring them. (Need help deciding on bridesmaid gifts? Check out our blog!) One little known trick to bring if you plan on wearing fancy heels for your outdoor wedding is investing in some heel stoppers! You can get them pretty cheap on Amazon. These little suckers attach to the skinny end of your heel and help stop them from poking holes all over the grass. LIFESAVERS!!
See?? Not so bad when you break it up! And of course these are all subjective. You may not need everything on our list, or there may be things that are special to you that you want to have with you. Take the time to start a list and keep adding to it as you get closer. Seeing it all laid out will help you not to forget anything.
As always, thanks for checking out what we have to say! If you liked this, make sure to check out our guy’s guide here! See what we’re up to over on IG and FB– and let us know if these tips were helpful!
Until next time,
Ashley and Camden
