As a team that provides both services, you'll get cohesive results when it comes to wedding day timeline, posing and storytelling method, and editing style for your final photos and videos. This way, you’ll receive a much higher quality product than working with two separate companies who may have never met each other before the wedding day. And you already know our personalities will mesh together perfectly!
We know some couples are on the fence about videography and wondering, are photos enough? With our wedding films, you have a complete remembrance of the way your day looked, sounded, and felt. There is SO much more emotion and dimension to your memories when you add sound and motion! We highly recommend booking a combo package as it will save you money and headache in the long run - but also understand if video isn't for you. We'd love to answer any questions you have in the meanwhile!

Take advantage of this session even if you've already done a session with another photographer (we all work a little bit differently behind the camera!) We consider this time vitally important in getting to know you both, as well as learning what poses make you look your best-- and vice versa, you get our posing into your muscle memory for a smooth wedding day portrait experience!
If you have over 50 guests, having a second shooter is vital for several reasons - 1, you get multiple angles of the day, and not just multiple angles of each event - we can actually be in 2 places at once and capture things that are happening simultaneously. 2, having a second shooter provides a backup in case of emergencies. If the lead has an emergency, the second shooter can take over without causing any disruption to the day's schedule.

WHAT'S THE BOOKING PROCESS?
We'll provide guidance on which package is best for your wedding plans, then we require a signed contract and flat rate $1000 deposit to make it official - all done online on an easy-peasy portal link that will house all your contracts, invoices, and questionnaires throughout the process.
There is a 6% sales tax and 2.75% credit card fee. For weddings within Virginia, travel is included. To have your engagement session outside of Richmond, there is a small travel fee. All fees are noted on your contract, so you don't have to worry about any extra costs popping up later.
We're fully licensed, insured, and drone pilot certified, and can provide your venue or any other vendors with a copy of any documents they need (as well as adding them as additionally insured if they require it).
After your $1000 deposit, 50% of the remainder is due 6 months out, and the rest due 30 days before the wedding. You can make partial payments towards those totals whenever you'd like, as long as the deadlines are met.
All of our cameras have dual card slots in case of corruption. When we get home from your wedding, we back up all your photos and videos to 2 physical drives and 1 cloud storage, and also keep the cards in a safe place until the wedding is delivered. Your photo and video galleries will also host your final images and videos for up to 10 years.
If something happens and we are unable to make it to the wedding, our team is comprised of 10 photographers and videographers who can take over at a moment's notice - and we're also part of a network of hundreds of colleagues we can contact to step in for us if necessary. We have your back no matter what!
For our camera geek friends ☺ For photo, we shoot with the Canon R6. For video, we shoot with the Sony a7S III and a Mavic 2 Pro drone (always in 4k!). We also use a variety of professional grade lighting and audio systems.
