They planned the session to celebrate a decade of dating. During the shoot, Chip completely surprised Alicia by proposing along the river after learning her ring was ready earlier than expected. Because of that, every smile, happy tear, and hug was completely real, and those are the moments we love documenting most as a Richmond engagement photographer.

He knew the moment was right.
