Hello hello!!
Welcome back to another exciting blog!! We’re Ashley and Camden- your favorite wedding photographers. Last time we talked about how the brides can maintain their energy on the wedding day- and this week is all for the guys! The morning of the wedding day can look a lot different for guys vs girls, so we wanted to give some handy options for everyone. So, sit back gentlemen- this one’s for you.

GO TO BED YOU CRAZY PARTY ANIMALS
YOU HEARD US!!! We know it’s tempting to stay up until 4am playing video games, poker, watching movies, YouTube Videos, or whatever it is you want to do. But please, for the love of God, GO TO SLEEP. It’s so important to get lots of rest for your wedding day! You may not have to spend 4 hours getting your hair and makeup done, but getting a good night’s rest is still important, even if you don’t need to wake up as early.

EAT AND DRINK
We touched on this in the girl’s guide, but we want you guys to do the same! Make sure you drink lots of water throughout the day and eat whenever you can. Between your emotional parents, to the aunts and uncles you haven’t seen since you were 5- there’s going to be a lot of hands to shake, hugs, tears, and laughs. You might not have as much time as you expected to sit down and eat like you planned. Have a nice breakfast, grab a cup of coffee, and snack when you’re able to. It’ll also help to avoid any awkward stomach growls during the ceremony (yes, it happens).

Do Small Activities to Keep Your Mind Active
Wedding days can bring a lot of nerves and jitters out. And that’s completely normal! Try to do some fun things like card games or just hanging out with your groomsmen to keep your mind busy and off of the scary parts. The day is all planned out, and you get to marry the love of your life! It’s an exciting day. But it’s natural to feel nervous with all the attention being on you. Keep the vibes low key until the ceremony and you’ll have plenty of energy to party later on!
Wedding days can be exhausting- but keeping these few things in mind are going to make such a difference in how you feel throughout the day! Take care of yourself and the energy will follow.
As always, thanks for keeping up with us! Make sure to follow us on IG and FB for all the dad jokes and cat videos you can imagine. Or feel free to send us an email here – and let’s chat all things weddings!!!
Until next time,
Ashley and Camden
