Chris and Jessi planned a classy, traditional black-tie wedding that felt completely true to them. Their ceremony took place outside on the patio, which was the perfect setting for their timeless style. Meanwhile, the Estate at River Run Summer landscape gave us beautiful places to photograph every part of their day.
From the brick house to the front drive, every part of the property has something special to offer. The path lined with crepe myrtles was especially beautiful for portraits and wedding party photos. Plus, the warm June greenery made the Estate at River Run Summer setting feel bright, colorful, and full of life.
A Classic Virginia Wedding With Personality
There was no shortage of elegant details throughout Chris and Jessi’s wedding day. The black-tie dress code, classic venue, and outdoor ceremony all came together beautifully. However, they also knew exactly when it was time to stop being formal and start having fun.
Once the reception got going, their personalities really came out. We love when couples can have those polished, timeless portraits while still letting loose with their favorite people. That balance made Chris and Jessi’s Estate at River Run Summer wedding so much fun for us to photograph and film.
